Mary Kate runs her own practice in Overland Park and has an excellent understanding of KCSC’s clientele and culture. When she finished her graduate studies, she worked as a trainer at KCSC for two years to better understand the other aspects of athletic needs. Now, as a full-time clinician, we are beyond lucky to have her as our go-to nutrition expert.

Mary Kate grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri, and moved to the Kansas City area to complete her master’s degree and dietetic internship. Growing up, Mary Kate’s athletic experience came from competitive volleyball.

During her Dietetic Internship, she worked as a Graduate Assistant at the KU athletic department, which allowed her to practice as a sports dietitian in Division 1 athletics. This role led her to become part of our team at KCSC as a trainer and dietitian.
